Every inquiry — corrections, questions, site problems, press, suggestions, or a note from a fellow loan officer — goes through the form below. No direct email address is published; picking the right type routes your message correctly and gets it in front of the right priority.
What helps a correction get processed quickly
Choose "Correction" above, and include:
- The URL or title of the article where the error appears
- The specific text or claim that is incorrect
- What the accurate information is, with a source if available
- Your name or pseudonym (so we can credit the correction if appropriate)
Response times vary based on volume and priority — factual corrections get priority over story suggestions, which get priority over general feedback. Most inquiries receive a response within one week.
For story suggestions
Choose "Suggestion" above. The most useful ones are specific: a particular question you couldn't find a good answer to, a confusing aspect of a Loan Estimate, a state program that's underexplained elsewhere, a pattern you've noticed in how lenders communicate.
Suggestions that the publication can't cover are sponsored placements (we don't do them), reviews of specific lenders (we don't evaluate individual lenders against each other), and personal mortgage advice (educational content only — see below).
For licensing questions about the publication
For questions about the publication's licensing structure, RESPA compliance, or editorial independence, the Licensing & Disclosure page answers most questions in detail. If it doesn't address your question, choose "General question" above.
For mortgage origination inquiries
This part is important.
Jahno is a publication, not a mortgage origination business. Mike Jaghnoun is a licensed Mortgage Loan Originator in 26 states (see Licensing & Disclosure), but the loan origination business is operationally separate from the editorial publication.
If you are looking for a loan officer to work with on an actual mortgage application, the appropriate path is to contact Mike Jaghnoun through his employer, not through this form. The publication does not generate leads for the origination business, and the origination business does not direct clients to the publication.
This separation isn't cosmetic. It's the architectural firewall that allows the publication to operate as borrower-side editorial content rather than as a marketing funnel.
For licensed loan officers
Choose "Licensed loan officers" above for professional inquiries from other NMLS-licensed MLOs — industry questions, referral conversations, or anything peer-to-peer. This is editorial-adjacent, not a lead channel in either direction.
For press, partnership, or speaking inquiries
Choose "Media / press" above for republishing requests, podcast appearances, conference speaking, or partnership discussions.
Note that the publication does not accept sponsored content partnerships, paid speaking arrangements that involve product placement, or any arrangement that would compromise the editorial firewall described on the About page.
What this page can't do
This is not a path to personalized mortgage advice. The content on Jahno is educational. Specific advice about your situation requires a licensed professional reviewing your specific facts. This form is for publication business, not for "what should I do about my mortgage?" questions.
This is not a complaint channel for regulatory issues. For regulatory complaints about Mortgage Loan Originator conduct, the appropriate channels are listed on the Licensing & Disclosure page (state regulators, federal CFPB). Editorial concerns about publication content come here; regulatory concerns about MLO conduct go to regulators.
